Barry College is a leading training provider for the Hair and Beauty industry in South Wales.
The course is predominantly taught in our new, state of the art Hair, Beauty and Holistic therapy salon – `Academi @ Barry College’.  It is recognised as one of the best facilities in the country – with L’Oreal and Goldwell also using it for their own training courses
Our course covers both practical and theoretical areas of hairdressing and beauty therapy.  Learners will have the opportunity to build up a portfolio of both written and practical work.

You will have the chance to practice in some of the following areas:

• Consultation Techniques
• Blow-drying
• Braiding
• Manicure & Pedicure
• Skin Care
• Make-up
• Theatrical Make-up
• Health & Safety

Learners will be expected to practice techniques on fellow class mates.

This course is designed for people wishing to gain an insight into entry into the profession, or a sound stepping stone to further studies within the Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy industry.
