Rotary Youth Speaks

Once again, one of our junior public speaking teams was victorious in the first round of the Rotary Youth Speaks competition. The team, comprising Rhiannon Berry (chair), Morwenna Osmond (speaker) and Betsan Jones (proposer of the vote of thanks) spoke about the Olympics and its influence. Rhiannon and Betsan also won individual prizes. The team will now compete at the District final in Crickhowell. We were pleased to have a second team competing in the local competition. Will Rees, Benjamin Popham and Harri Williams spoke about the importance of sport in the lives of young people.
