    Congratulations to the school’s Year 9 Football Team, for winning the Cardiff and Vale Schools Football cup, this week. Ysgol Bro Morgannwg was victorious by 4 goals to 3 in the final against Whitchurch High School. Bro Morgannwg’s goals were scored by Dafydd Smith (3) and Tom Edwards.
  • Playing for Wales

    Recently Meirin Evans, year 11 represented Wales by playing for the National Under-16 Basketball Team in Dublin against Ireland. Unfortunately the Welsh team lost by 46 points to 90. Here are some pictures of Meirin competing.

  • Britain's Sailing Squad

    Recently Eleni Morus, year 13 was competing in the trials for the Great Britain Sailing Squad in Pwllheli. Eleni and her new sailing partner Anna Greenwell have been experiencing success up until now, winning the final race of the Spring Championships in the British 420 Class, and were therefore hopeful success in these trials. If successful they will be competing in Austria this summer with the Great Britain Sailing Squad.
  • Basketball for Wales

    Congratulations to year 11 pupil Meirin Evans on being selected to play for the Welsh under 16 Basketball Team. At the end of April Meirin will go to Ireland to play against their National Team and then in July he will be flying to Gibraltar to compete in the European Basketball Championship. Pob lwc Meirin.
  • Floor & Vault Champions

    Following the recent County Gymnastics competition Ysgol Gyfun Bro Morgannwg’s ‘Floor and Vault, Mixed Team’ are now Welsh Champions. The team will now go on to compete in the British Schools Competition in May. This is the first time for the School to compete at this level in this field. Members of the winning team are Ffion Byrne, Finlay Haswell, Iwan Mepham, Rhidian Mepham and Emyr Byrne.
